But now he's back as well as his camera, so here is the long-and-short of my WIPs:

Yes, I only have one of them completed. I don't know when I'll get the rest finished, they are fairly boring to work on and anyway I'm under a deadline to finish this...
Arcadian Quilt -- Wedding Gift for a Wedding in June
I have gotten a lot done the past two weeks; though it doesn't seem like much in retrospect. There is a lot of hand quilting involved with this project, so I'm happy to say, I'm half-way through. This is my main focus of work for the next few weeks...

Which is made from Kona Black and the left over fabric from my Curtain Call Dress. I'm thinking it will end up being a crib-sized quilt, which is perfect since I still have two more babies arriving this year amongst our friends :)
OMG, I love that black and blue bowtie quilt top! And your hexie stars just about made me fall over - SOO amazing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had gone along with that camera! I love traveling.
ReplyDeleteAll your projects are delightful, but like Elizabeth D, I'm drawn to that bow-tie quilt with its wonky little butterfly-like pattern flying over the black background. It will be great to see it finished!

Hey! The Garden of Stars top looks right at home with the cathedral pic! :D And that is going to be one stunning baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove that hexie quilt! And that blue bow-tie is so striking!
ReplyDeleteWow! Garden of Stars is incredible, I love it. And count me as another fan of the bow-tie quilt, it's stunning! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you added "amongst our friends" to your very last sentence - my heart skipped a beat when I thought you were having twins this year. I'm always a fan of your lovely hand quilting. Well done, ma'am :)
