The one day of the year that my friends from the "Deep South" consider me -the Kentucky girl- "Southern" (though I have never managed to inherit silver mint julep cups).
The other 364 days of the year, I'm just a "mutt" (someone from too far North to be Southern, but from too far South to be a damn Yankee) who knows more than a thing or two about bourbon and makes a killer cocktail.
