Traditional Block: Hexagon Star (Large)

Hexagon Star (Large) -- Handpieced without English Paper Piecing

This is a rather large block, though it's deceptive in pictures. As the larger of the two stars I designed for my 'Garden of Stars' quilt, this one is made from 72 hexagons that are slightly smaller than 3 inches.

    Is that 3" on a side? It's very deceptive! I love the fabrics you used, though.
